Bobban House is a charming traditional two bedroomed stone clad cottage in the village of Drinishader and just a few hundred yards from a picturesque harbour and the  “Clo Mhor” Exhibition.  The village is along the Golden Road on the Isle of Harris the real heart of this unspoiled crofting area. Come and stay, make yourself at home and unwind in our beautiful cottage, the ideal location, surrounded by the spectacular scenery that the Isle of Harris is famous for.

Bobban House is ideally located for those who want to make the most of what the Islands of Harris and Lewis have to offer. The Isle of Harris is famous for its breathtaking views, pure white sandy beaches, and quiet little villages nestled in quiet coves along the coastline. The main town on Harris, Tarbert (akin to a village) is located ten minutes from the house, whilst the famous beaches are within fifteen minutes drive.  Explore the Golden Road and you will come across art galleries, a chocolate factory, Skoon Art Cafe, and an abundance of wildlife. This is the perfect destination for those who enjoy exploring the outdoors. Nearby Tarbert provides all necessary amenities with numerous shops, cafes, restaurants, whilst Stornoway (Isle of Lewis) with its supermarkets, hospital and about anything you might need is just over an hours drive away, longer if you’re not in a hurry.
